SYR26 Junior Leaders Program

Beginning this summer, we are launching the Junior Leaders Program for 2026 graduates during the Summit Youth Retreat. As these high school seniors graduate and wrap up their time in Summit Youth, we believe the teaching, values, and biblical principles they received in this ministry will help guide them into their next season of life.

SYR bridges the gap between the end of their high school career and what’s next. The Junior Leaders Program will provide an opportunity for these grads to put their leadership skills to use through hands-on serving experience, leading small group discussions and prayer, helping to organize services, participating in on-stage moments, and more!

Our middle and high school lowerclassmen students look up to the seniors. These graduates have an opportunity to set the example for the group by showing them what true leadership looks like before they transition to their next ministry department, Summit Young Adults. Seniors will be expected to rise to the challenge by helping SY Adult Leaders create a life-giving atmosphere for the entire youth group.

Seniors will participate in every aspect of the retreat and enjoy their final year of SYR with their brothers and sisters in Christ. The program won’t take away from their experience, but rather enhance it, by allowing them to grow and lead, while preparing them for the next step away from high school and into college or a vocation career. We are excited to launch this program in 2026 and watch these graduates step into the next level God has for them!
