Operation Christmas Child

Operation Christmas Child
Summit is excited to partner with Samaritan's Purse through Operation Christmas Child! The mission of this project is to provide shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with the Good News of Jesus Christ.
Pick up a shoebox this Sunday and return your filled shoebox to the Outreach Supply Tent by Sunday, November 16.
Winter Coat Collection

Summit partners with local schools to help meet the needs of children and families. Before the cold weather hits, we are going to provide winter coats for children in kindergarten through 8th grade! Visit the Outreach Supply Tent, grab a hanger, and bring back a new coat by Sunday, October 26th. Thank you for serving others this fall!

You can help make Fall Fest a success by signing up online to serve on Friday, October 31! From game booths to check-in, it takes many hands to make this night a success.
Candy Collection
We encourage all families to bring 10 lbs. of “fun size” individually wrapped, non-Halloween-themed candy to the Outreach Supply Tent by Sunday, October 26.

Through Summit’s partnership with five local Giant Foods and ECHO, groceries are being distributed to local families in need every week! To help sort, package, or deliver these items from Summit to ECHO, located in Springfield, please email serve@summitchurchdc.com. Thank you for being all about others!
Serve Saturday
Join us as we take action to show God’s love every Saturday across the DMV. As Christ-followers, we have the privilege of being the hands and feet of Jesus.

Every fourth Sunday of the month, Summit’s Serve Team visits Greenspring Senior Living Community to share God’s love with Greenspring residents and you can be a part!
